Croome Cheese are a family run business based on the outskirts of Worcester passionate about creating award winning cheeses. We source local ingredients (where we can) introducing a wide range of flavours to cheese and smoking traditionally over Oak logs.
Nick has been making cheese for over 25 years, it all started as a young man working and living on his families estate in Croome. Experiementing with making cheeses with sheep milk and becoming one of the first in the UK to do so.
When he broke his leg during a rugby match …his friends thought rather than listening to his moaning they would enrol him on a cheese making course at Hindlip and the rest is history!
Business Development Manager
Leanne joined the team in 2014 as Business Development Manager. Based in the office at the dairy she oversees the daily running of the business.
There is no query you can think of / ask that Leanne cannot answer!
Retail Support Manager
Anita is our Retail Support Manager, she is also THE Mrs Hodgetts, (Nick’s better half). Anita is usually found out and about, visiting our retail customers, offering support and carrying out sampling sessions.
Andy originally joined the team in 2015, after leaving to gain more experience he returned as our Production Manager in 2020 … what can we say, he can’t stay away!
Andy is our main man! From organising the team, to creating production plans alongside Rosie, to overseeing the making, packing and despatch of our wonderful cheeses! He is our resident comedian and keeps the team going on a daily basis!
Rosie also joined the team in 2015. She first started as our Events Organiser, arranging all the food festivals, shows and events. But after a short break from Croome she returned and became our Accounts Manager. She deals with day to day queries regarding customers accounts, invoicing, but not only can she do numbers (with the help of a calculator) she also oversees Production plans with Andy, Marketing, Advertising, Photography, Customer service… a Croome Cheese jack of all trades!
Events Manager & Customer Services
Sarah has been with us since 2019. She is the port of call for all things Cheese! Orders… she knows it! Shows… she can organise it! Farm shops… she can tell you who and where to find them!
She organises our wonderful Show team and gets them out on the road to food festivals, food and drink shows, markets and tasting events.
Jack started here in 2021 within Production but very quickly made his way to our Despatch cold room.
He is in charge of collating, packing and despatching orders out to all our wonderful customers.
In all the months he has been at Croome, you will very rarely see Jack without a bobble hat on… even in the summer!
Helen has been with Croome for many years, starting off travelling out far and wide at food festivals and markets, she eventually decided to join us up at the Dairy with going out and meeting customers around the West midlands.
When Covid hit, our Helen was restricted to the Dairy and not able to go out visiting, this is where she found her calling… the Cold Room! Working alongside Jack, Helen is his right hand man, collating orders, packing stock for orders.
