Croome Cuisine are a small family business based on the outskirts of Worcester passionate about creating cheeses and relishes that reflect the iconic flavours of our region. We source local ingredients (where we can) introducing a wide range of flavours to cheese and smoking traditionally over Oak logs.

Our relishes are created to compliment our cheeses, keeping with the company ethos of using local ingredients (where possible), to make them a match made in heaven!

 

Nick Hodgetts

Managing Director

Nick has been making cheese for over 25 years, which started when he broke his leg during a rugby match …his friends thought rather than listen to his moaning they would enrol him on a cheese making course at Hindlip and the rest is history! Croome Cuisine was founded by Nick in 2010 and has grown from strength to strength. His favourite cheese flavour is Worcestershire Hop it should be he has been making it for 25 years!

Leanne Hodgetts

Business Development Manager

Leanne joined the team in 2014 as Business Development Manager.  Based in the office at the dairy she oversees the order requests and daily running of the business, as well as finding new customers and bringing energy to the team. There is no query you can think of / ask that Leanne cannot answer. Fountain of cheese knowledge springs to mind. Leanne’s favourite cheese(s) is Hobsons Ale and Wholegrain Mustard (and Christmas Cake).

Gary Tucker

Chief Cheese Maker

Gary, our Chief Cheese Maker, joined our team in 2014. He is responsible for making the delicious cheeses we all love so much! He is a motorbike fanatic and spends a lot of his weekends on his motorbike or selling our cheese at markets/food festivals. Gary’s favourite cheese is Hot Sweet Chilli.

Anita Hodgetts

Retail Support Manager

Anita is our Retail Support Manager, she is also THE Mrs Hodgetts, (Nick’s wife). Anita is usually found out and about, visiting our retail customers, offering support and carrying out sampling sessions. She also enjoys creating wonderful wedding cakes.

Anita’s favourite cheese is Fig and Honey.

Andy Hodgetts

Despatch Manager

Andy originally joined the team in 2015, after leaving to gain more experience he returned as our Despatch Manager in January 2020 …  what can we say, he can’t stay away!
Andy’s main task is to overlook the labelling, packing and despatch team although being a comedian he is always cracking jokes and putting smiles on everyone’s faces.

Andy’s favourite cheese is Black Truffle.
